Medicine Singers joined by Lee Ranaldo, Thor Harris, Laraaji more at Brooklyn show this weekend

medicine singersthe collaboration between the Native American powwow group Eastern Medicine Singers and Monotonix’s Yonatan Gat, released their self-titled debut album earlier this year via Gat’s Stone Tapes imprint via Joyful Noise. The album contains contributions from Thor Harris and Christopher Pravdica or Swans, former DNA drummer Ikue Morigreat background music Laraaji, Ryan Olson (Police, Gayngs) and fire Jamie branch. There will be a special Medicine Singers performance this weekend at Brooklyn’s Pioneer Works on Saturday, September 24 with a 10-piece lineup including Gat, Laraaji, Harris, Pravdica, lively youthit is Lee Ranaldoand more.

In addition, there will be duo performances by Lee Ranaldo and the Moroccan Gnawa artist Maalem Hassan Ben Jafarand Laraaji and the great African guitar Mamady Kouyate. Tickets are on sale and you can check out the poster below.
