Phosphorus Cybersecurity, an advanced and comprehensive security provider for the Extended Internet of Things (XIoT), is partnering with cybersecurity company EverSec Group Inc. as a value-added reseller of Phosphorus in the US market.
XIoT is a holistic generic term that encompasses all cyber-physical devices connected to the Internet.
Meet the growing demand for XIoT solutions
The two companies will jointly deliver a new generation of XIoT security solutions in the United States to meet growing enterprise demand for XIoT attack surface management and remediation capabilities, according to a prepared release.
Obbe Knoop, Chief Revenue Officer of Phosphorus, looked forward to the potential impact of the partnership:
“This exciting collaboration with a proven solution provider will allow us to expand our footprint and provide industry-leading XIoT security to more enterprises in the United States. EverSec’s proven expertise in the emerging security landscape is of great value to us as we prepare for record growth this year.”
Phosphorus launches into XIoT technology
Phosphorus said its XIoT Extended Enterprise Security Platform is capable of delivering xIoT Attack Surface Management, XIoT Hardening and Remediation, and XIoT Detection and Response to the full range of IoT devices, OT and network connected. This coverage covers both new and old devices. The platform, notes Phosphorus, allows large organizations to scale XIoT technologies, which often represent millions of devices per organization, without having to add additional employees to secure them.
Additionally, MSSP Alert reported in February 2022 that Phosphorus had raised $38 million in Series A funding led by SYN Ventures and MassMutual Ventures.
