‘Grimcutty’ Trailer – Hulu Horror Movie Brings An Internet Meme To Life This Halloween

The Sanderson sisters are back Hocus Pocus 2which will make its debut on Disney+ on September 30, 2022and the streaming service released the first official clip from the film today.

In the clip, the sisters find some rather unique “brooms” at Walgreens…

The film is billed as “the spooky sequel to the 1993 Halloween classic”, with Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi all back as beloved Sanderson Sisters.

Doug Jones will also return as Billy Butcherson!

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th century sisters who were executed for practicing witchcraft, and they’re out for revenge. Now it’s three high school kids away from figure out how to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before midnight on All Saints’ Eve.”

Anne Flecher (The feeling of guilt) directed Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney+.

The cast includes Peak Whitney (“Gossip Girl”, “Molly’s Game”) as Becca, Lily Buckingham (“Dirt”, “Crown Lake”) as Cassie, and Belissa Escobedo (“American Horror Stories”, “The Baker and the Beauty”) as Izzy, three young women from present-day Salem who incur the wrath of the Three Witches. Sam Richardson (Werewolves inside) will also play. Favorites “Arrested Development” Tony Hale and actress “Ted Lasso” Hannah Waddingham have also landed roles with Froy Gutierrez, Juju Brener, Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.

The Kenny Ortega– directed a 1993 film Omri Katz as a curious youngster who moves to Salem, Massachusetts, where he struggles to fit in before awakening a trio of evil witches (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) who were executed in the 17th century. The film also starred Thora BirchWho’s gonna do it not back for more, unfortunately.

Jen D’Angelo (“Workaholics”) wrote the screenplay for the sequel.
