OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – The Oshkosh Police Department has announced the winners of its 5k event which recently took place in Wisconsin.
“Our goals are to provide our officers, non-sworn personnel and law enforcement families of the Oshkosh Police Department with mental health and resilience support, education, training and awareness. “said the registration website.
Officers said funds from the 4th Annual Oshkosh Police Department Mental Health and Wellness 5K will go towards physical/mental/emotional health education/training, law enforcement resilience and speakers related to mental health and wellness.
The winners of the Sept. 10 event were announced on the PD Facebook page, which stated the following:
- 1st – 5:23 p.m., Ryne Scopp
- 2nd – 8:18 p.m., Max Hoffer
- 3 -21:51, Will Danahy
- 1st – 24:55, Susan Nystrom
- 2nd – 25:59, Paula Tompkins
- 3rd – 26:31, Nicole Howell
- Youth (12 and under)
- 1st – 10:53 p.m., Gavin Brooker
- 2nd – 24:06, Owen Berg
- 3rd -24:29, Connor McDonald
