By the time I post about this, Derrick Henry will likely have put a defender on his back via his stiff arm or a truck move. But until then, the New York Giants have bragging rights for the linebacker-sized running back in their Sunday game.
Henry, in a rare moment, was knocked on his back with a massive blow.
During a Tennessee Titans practice in the second quarter that reached the red zone, Henry made the mistake of leaving his feet to obstruct traffic in front of him. That allowed Giants center linebacker Tae Crowder, who is listed as two inches shorter and 12 pounds lighter than Henry, to hit the back with the kind of force he’s used to.

The hit was a small consolation prize for the Giants, who still allowed a field goal to go down 13-0 in the first half.
