ENFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) – Police say a Woodstock Academy football player was sent to hospital after a medical incident during a game at Enfield.
Enfield High School were playing Woodstock Academy at the Enfield Annex football ground when the incident happened.
“I was walking around with my friends and then, like, I heard the whistles getting shot and I heard this guy had a seizure on the pitch. It got really quiet. Everyone in kind of, like, i feel like everyone, i felt like their hearts just sank I was texting some people, like, this is something really scary to even, like, witness it,” said Natty Marsh, A Senior at Enfield High School.
Police could not confirm which medical incident occurred.
Woodstock Academy principal Christopher Sandford said the player is currently in stable condition and the game has been postponed.
